NEURAL SWIMMIMG TECHNIQUE
What can you expect on YOUR 1-2-1 SESSIONS...
Swimmers Acceleration's™ neural swimming technique system focuses on strengthening your inner neural and muscular support system which consists of your deep abdominal muscles, and the muscles closest to your spine. Our drills develop torso control by integrating your trunk, pelvis and shoulder girdle.
Unique Neural Posture & Neural Balance Drills...
The critical alignment of your body will influence your performance in the water in a number of ways. Truly, it is the single most important aspect of our sport.
Whether you are just learning or are competing in your fourth Olympic games, your body alignment should be consistantly on your mind. Ideally, you want to remain flat in the water with your hips held high, just below the surface. This is made possible by keeping the head in a neutral position and by turning you into a 'long swimming lever' .
Once your bodyline has been established, you’ll find that you’re able to swim much farther and much easier. Water has a nasty way of drawing attention to our technical mistakes, so a little change will go a long way.
Connecting Your Sensory Neural Information & Stroke Effectiveness...
The Swimmers Acceleration™ method will short circuit your personal motor-learning process and renders the complex simpler. The deliberate intention of our system is to cause an immediate connection between sensory information and stroke effectiveness.Through providing instant meaning to neural awareness, our methodology adds a new perspective and direction to traditional the established methods. So effective is our revolutionary methodology that it we use it even in the early stages of learning. Young swimmers and adult non-swimmers / swimmers rapidly improve their ability to seek out and recognize ideal water movement reactions.
Putting Your Stroke Back Together...
As we begin to put your stroke back together again, you will be introduced to two varieties of drills that we believe are also essential for building a swimming stroke:
# Breakdown Drills: that will isolate specific stroke components
# Flow Drills: that will connect all the isolated components into a full fluid and flowing motions of the stroke.
